Member Meetups
Where Community Comes to Life
One of the most beautiful things about mentoring is that it thrives in relationship — and relationship is built in the spaces where we actually show up for one another. That’s exactly what Member Meetups are designed to be: a place to gather, learn, ask questions, and simply be in community with women who “get it.”
These are optional, low-pressure gatherings held live on Google Meet, designed to complement everything else happening inside Bridge the Gap. Whether you’re a longtime member or still finding your footing, there’s a spot at the table for you.
What to Expect
Meetups are designed to feel warm, accessible, and worth your time. They’re never a requirement — just an open door. When a meetup is on the horizon, you’ll see it announced in the Community News announcements area of the discussion forum, along with the title, date, and time.
Because we know your schedule is full, meetups are intentionally varied in format and length, so there’s something that fits many different seasons of life.
Types of Meetups
🌿 Fellowship Meetups
Sometimes you just need to be with your people. Fellowship Meetups are unstructured, conversation-led gatherings where members connect, share what God is doing in their lives, and simply enjoy the gift of community. Come as you are — no agenda required.
📚 Short Training Meetups
Focused and practical, these meetups zero in on a single mentoring skill, concept, or tool you can take back into your relationships right away. Think of them as a short workshop: a bit of teaching, a bit of discussion, and a whole lot of “I can actually use this.”
🗣 Guest Speaker Meetups
Every now and then, we get to learn from someone who brings a fresh voice to the room. Guest Speaker Meetups feature women with something meaningful to say about mentoring, faith, community, or the unique calling of walking alongside others. These are always a gift.
❓ Mentoring Q&A Meetups
Real mentoring comes with real questions. Q&A Meetups create space for you to bring the things you’re wondering about — sticky situations, “what would you do?” moments, and everything in between. No topic is too small. If you’re asking it, someone else is wondering the same thing.
How It Works
All meetups are held on Google Meet — which means all you need is a device and an internet connection. No downloads required, no complicated setup. Just click the link, and you’re in the room.
📋 Watch for Announcements
When a meetup is being planned, you’ll find the announcement pinned in the Community News announcements section of the forum, with everything you need: the meetup title, the day, the time, and the link to join. Keep an eye there so you don’t miss what’s coming.
“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their labor: If either of them falls down, one can help the other up.”— Ecclesiastes 4:9–10
We’re better together, friend. We hope to see you there.
