Mentoring That Matters Cohorts
Three separate, practical, encouraging training experiences for women who want to mentor well.
🪴You may already be mentoring someone—or maybe you've been thinking about becoming a mentor but aren't quite sure where to begin.
🪴You may have years of experience mentoring women, or you may be completely new to it.
🪴Wherever you are, Mentoring That Matters is designed to help you become a
more intentional, confident, and equipped mentor.
🪴This is not simply a course you watch and check off a list.
Each Cohort is a guided 12-week experience where you'll learn, think, participate in discussions, and have the opportunity to grow alongside other women who believe that mentoring matters.
🪴And you'll have me, Ellen, along the way.🪴

What Is a Mentoring That Matters Cohort?
*A Mentoring That Matters Cohort is a 12-week, self-paced mentoring training experience for women who want to mentor women and teen girls in a way that is intentional, relational, and grounded in biblical truth.
*Each lesson includes a short teaching video and discussion prompts to help you think through what you're learning and apply it to your own mentoring relationships.
*You choose when to work through the lessons, so you don't have to rearrange your life around a weekly meeting.
*At the same time, you're not doing it alone.
*You'll have access to a private discussion space where cohort members can share, discuss the lessons, learn from one another, and ask questions. I'll be there too, monitoring the discussions and participating along the way.
Learn at your own pace.
Learn with other women.
And have support when you need it.
What You'll Receive
Your enrollment includes much more than access to a series of videos.
📖 The Complete Workbook for that particular Cohort
You'll receive a printed copy of the applicable workbook to use throughout the Cohort.
The workbook is designed to go hand-in-hand with the lessons, giving you space to learn, reflect, take notes, and work through the material.
🎥 Teaching Videos for Every Lesson
Each lesson includes a brief teaching video from me, along with discussion prompts to help you move from simply learning about mentoring to thinking about how you can actually practice it.
💬 A Place to Learn Together
You'll have access to the cohort discussion space throughout the training.
Share your thoughts, respond to others, ask questions, and learn from women with different mentoring experiences and perspectives.
Participation is encouraged, but there is no pressure to be online at a particular time.
🤍 Ongoing Access to Me
One of the things that makes our Cohorts different from simply purchasing a self-paced course is that I'm here with you.
I'll monitor the discussions, participate in the conversation, and provide guidance as questions and mentoring situations arise.
You don't have to figure everything out by yourself.
🎁 Your Mentoring Essentials Starter Kit
Before you begin, I'll mail you a Mentoring Essentials Starter Kit to help you get ready for the journey.
Your kit will include your workbook along with a few practical and fun items to make your mentoring experience a little more special.
Think of it as your invitation to settle in, grab your favorite coffee or tea, and get ready to learn.
📚 Lifetime Access to the Alumni Library
This is one of the benefits I am especially excited to offer.
As a Cohort participant, you'll receive lifetime access to my growing collection of digital mentoring resources, for FREE. (All digital items sold in the shop are FREE for alumni.)
This includes journals, Bible studies, worksheets, conversation resources, and other practical tools you can use in your own mentoring relationships. And as I add new digital mentoring resources to the library, you'll have access to those too.
A Cohort lasts 12 weeks. Your access to these resources lasts for as long as Bridge the Gap exists.
🪨The Opportunity to Become a Keystone Mentor
If you choose to complete all three Cohorts (recommended!), you will earn the special designation as a Keystone Mentor.

You'll also have the option to further your training by completing the Keystone Mentor path.

What Makes This Different?

Training without pressure.
Community without comparison.
Practical tools without a formula or program.
Biblical truth without making mentoring complicated.
You'll learn principles you can carry into all kinds of mentoring relationships—not a rigid formula you have to follow.
Because every woman is different.
Every mentoring relationship is different.
And ultimately, Jesus is the bridge.
